These are times that tests one's soul and our ability to get along with others. Why is this true, even if you don't think you have a problem with getting along with people?
The truth is that we all live in a fast-paced world and may have little time to develop healthy relationships. Others of us have little personal contact with people because we rely so much on instant communications through gadgets and cell phones.
The internet has brought the whole world into our homes. We can talk and make friends with people all around the globe. In fact, many of us date through contacts made through the internet--making dating and building relationships on a totally different level than when I was dating.
Because of our fast-paced world and our communications are done through texting on cell phones, emails, and Skype. I remember when it was still a fantasy to talk with and see the person at the same time. I never really thought that could happen, yet we are now doing it.
Now you can join this forum and interact with friends in ways people are becoming comfortable with doing. Forums are a good way to be given a subject to discuss and then you tell us what you think, what problems you have with the topic, or give advice to others by the lessons you have learned on that topic.
These days are truly the best of times as far as communications, but because we live in a hectic society we need each other more than ever before.
